So even though I told myself I was not going to write fan fiction for Doctor Who I got roped into it. I blame those girls on the forum who keep telling me how great my work is, egging me on to write more.  So I did and now I seem to have gotten myself stuck in a series of stories now. I have even started up a membership on Teaspoon and an Open Mind. I will be linking my site to that site instead of posting stuff twice.

So, work has been a bit slow, but to fill my time I'm on creative overload. Once I got all the wallpapers out of my system (and there were a bunch, go check them out) I started on some short drabble fan fics, some very funny stuff in there.

Nathan is in Kindergarden, and not doing so great. Keeps misbehaving, and it is looking more and more like ADHD. As much as me and Mike hate the idea of medicating our son, we want him to be well adjusted and have a good school experience. We're gonna get an appointment with a pchylogist for some testing and see where to go from there.

So just thought I would pop in and talk about my fairly new job. I'm working again at a local newspaper doing ad design/layout. it's a small paper and I do have some free time while waiting around for sales people, so I have been churning out quite a few new David Tennant/Doctor Who wallpapers. All of which can be found over on Site with a View. Of course to get memory enough for them all I've had to dump the pathetic photo album I made of my kids. It wasn't really big enough to waste the space on, and if you really want to see pictures of my kids you can check out my MySpace page. I also had to get rid of some of those old Buffy wallpapers. I'm thinking of dumping them all and just leaving the Major Arcana up. I like them too much to get rid of, and I don't have copies anymore. My posting has slowed abit on the forum, because of working and lack of too many threads I haven't posted on already that I feel like I want to post on. All though my Six Degreee of David Tennant thread seems very popular, as do my wallpapers.

 

Seems I never got around to talking about DragonCon on here. I did go this past Labor Day Weekend, and it was bunches of fun. If only because Mike stayed home and the kids stayed with my mom so I had the whole weekend to myself. A rarity in my life. I posted a bunch of pics over on my photobucket account if anyone cares to have a gander.

Well, I'm back at work, and all caught up. There was a load of work to be done when I got back, but I got it all sorted now and I have nothing to work on at the given moment. I'm sure a salesperson will be in here momentarily to give me something to do. that is pretty much how it's been going today. As soon as I start doing something that does envolve the paper someone walks into the office with so little 2 minute job for me to do.

Not that I mind, it makes me feel better for still sticking around for the hours if I actually do stuff. AND if I stay on top of everything then maybe I can get out of here early on Friday so I can get on the road earlier. I'm heading up to Atlanta for DragonCon. Been sleeping like pooh the last couple nights, and now my back hurts. But I have been having some creative work done. I'm about to go and rearrange the wallpapers, to make up for the fact that they are not all Doctor Who related.

So I'm in Oregon on vacation at the moment. Nathan lost his first tooth yesterday, and was upset when the tooth fairy took it away. He wanted to keep it.

Over on the board, me and a few other girls got in a little trouble. Seems we were having private conversations on the threads, going off topic and generally making others feel unwelcome. Or so we were told. A bunch of threads got locked by the admins, one girl left the board, and we all feel a little weary about what we can and can't post.  Honestly, I don't know how we made people feel unwelcome. I was not originally part of said conversations, I just threw myself into it whether the rest of them liked it or not ;) . Not that they seemed upset at all, welcoming more like. Which is why I don't understand. Okay, we may have gone off topic and were chatting a bit all of which would be a no no. And I don't blame the admins for what they did, it's what they are there for.

 So when I get back to work the day after tommorrow, I'll be the only onethere most days, and may be light on work most days as well. So I have decided to teach myself Dreamweaver. They have it on the computers at work so I think I'll have time to play with it.And this site will be my guinea pig! So if things go all wonky, that is why. Maybe I'll get a book from the library, Dreamweaver for Dummies or something.

So this morning I ran by the post office and sent off my letter & SASE to David Tennant in hopes of getting a autograph back to add to my collection. Of course, knowing the USPS and the fact that it is being sent off Internationally, I feel I will be lucky to recieve anything before Christmas. Here's hoping it gets there at all.

So just another Sunday, sundays are boring! Watched Stolen Earth last night on SciFi ( not my first time), and making loads of new wallpapers ( go check'em out). Other then that just trolling the board and relaxing. Found a new show. Well, new to me. Spaced with Simon Pegg, love him! So funny. Nathan has his first loose tooth, and Mike has gone off to buy us new cell phone, which we desperatly need as my is about to crap out on me any day now. I don't know what kind he got me yet, just that it's green ( my choice).

So I think I have updated the site as much as I think it's needed at this point. Cleaned up the extra files and unneeded stuff and bad links, as well as some new Doctor Who realted Sigs and Avatars, as well as some wallpapers. Everyone over at david-tennant.com seem to love them.  I would like to take the opportunity to till all those lovely girls from Team Tennant a hearty hello, just in case any of them stop by here.

it's been four years since I've updated. A bit slack on my part I admit. But now I am back with a brand new obsession. With Buffy and Angel off the air my personal geek has thrown in with the Whovians! And with David Tennant helming the TARDIS, who can really blame me. Now Buffy has not been forgotten, I've been reading the season eight comic books, which are VERY good, and i have been keeping up with D. Boreanaz over on Bones too. But Who is where it is at. There will be new addition all over the site to note these recent changes. Enjoy, or not. I don't really care, heehee.
